"Amazed at the unconditional care"

About: University Hospital Aintree / General surgery

(as a service user),

I was admitted near the beginning of Sept 2020 with stage 4 cirrhosis I was in a pretty bad way and didn't expect to make a recovery, I'm 63years old, and from the time I was admitted to the time I was DISCHARGED 11 days later, I received treatment that was (as is totally evident from the date I got to go home) Second to none. From the First Responders who got me there, from the Wonderful Doctor's who done procedures in my stomach on that same day, from the Nursing Staff on ward 11 who gave me constant unconditional care and attention  that was second nature to them and hopefully they realise just how much they aided my recovery, which I'm now able to carry on doing at home.

This means the world to me, and really, there are no words to describe my gratitude and appreciation for my LIFE. I will forever be Thankful for every single day of their time and effort that I was so privileged to be the recipient of. To Ged Ward Manager, congratulations on carrying out your full commitment with excellent  efficiency, while still making time to call a daily chat with your patients. I am Amazed at my experience on ward 11 and it's all Thanks to your dedication....My love to everyone for your help and support is forever and always...
