Over the last few months i have been in and out of a&e with self harm, suicidal thoughts or attempts. The care i have received about these is an absolute disgrace. My psychiatrist doesn't help with the care either.
The last time i was in for an overdose about 3 weeks ago now and was not seen by any member of staff from the crisis team what so ever which has been the same on the other visits.
I get told to keep myself safe every time by general dr which is shocking as i cant guarantee i can keep myself safe.
Been told am better dealt with in the community but i get next to no help what so ever.
I am left to fight my battles on a daily basis. And its so hard.
I am pretty unstable and have been for months now.
Due to the poor care at a&e i no longer feel i can go back to a&e with mental health related issues as I feel they more or less laugh in my face.
My mum is extremely worried that i will be successful one of these day. Shes even tried to have me admitted to psychiatric care but gets no where.
So i continue to struggle daily.
I think mental health care at hairmyres is absolutely shocking and I feel they couldn't care less.
