Comments:This letter is to express my gratitude and appreciation for the care and attention given to me by the staff of Torbay Hospital.
I recently returned home after spending two nights in Ainslie Ward following an accident falling from a ladder. I was admitted to Accident & Emergency on the afternoon of 6th September and discharged on the 8th. During the entire time of my stay I was treated with the highest levels of professional support. Whether it was paramedics lifting me off the ground after my fall, consultants explaining the results of a scan or trolley staff offering me a cup of tea, I was consistently treated with respect and concern for my well-being. The level of care and the warm atmosphere of the ward was extremely high and a credit to the management and ethos established in the hospital.
It’s all too easy to take the care provided by NHS staff for granted. Having been on the receiving end for three intensive days, I am full of respect for the way staff in the hospital work as a team Thankyou!
"Appreciation"
