"NHS Mishandling of my health"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

I have been unwell for 6 months and have 2 children and a husband who are watching me deteriorate in front of their eyes . I have had to fight for the NHS to investigate as i was constantly being dismissed . Upon doing a few test and not getting to the bottom of what is wrong I have now being left being unwell with my Gp saying if i have worsening of symptoms go to a and e , a and e saying as my illness is not acute i need to go to GP . I have been in hospital as an inpatient several times , at the GP , phoning calls to GP and attending a and e to be dismissed each and every time . I have told them since I received the few investigations into my case in June 2020 that my symptoms have changed / worsened and I am still being dismissed .To the point where one of the medical team I saw has wrote on my medical notes that the NHS have to provide no further investigation into my case and have made sure to have my Gp put on my medical notes that only reassurance has to be offered to me . I have complained to the health board , my local MSP and GP to no avail , to what I can only imagine is due to what it wrote on my medical notes (which I had requested a copy from my GP , so I can see what has been wrote) .I believe a member of staff wrote lies on my record and I am being discriminated against due to my medical notes , which a lot of claims made about me are untrue .

I am appalled by the treatment of the NHS and I will be taking this further . My children are worried sick for my life and ask multiple times per day if I am going to die . This is heart breaking and unacceptable. How can a person who has been unwell for 6 months and lost over 3 stone in weight with many symptoms and the fact that I can’t eat foods and are trying to keep myself alive on a few meal replacement drinks per day be left in this way ? I have on many occasions asked for a feeding tube to help with nutrition which has been declined as well . It was said that due to the fact that this may cause lazy swallowing and no quality of life for me . What quality of life have I got now ? I am completely bed bound and are extremely unwell with no energy and not able to eat and only able to take minimal fluids per day , which makes me experience extreme stomach pains and sickness.

My symptoms have progressed to the following Difficulty swallowing liquids and foods, I have lost 47 pounds in weight, indigestion, regurgitation, nausea, clicking throat, tongue constantly coated white and is worse when consuming foods/liquids, blood pressure has been lowering, stomach pains, constipation, bloating, feeling full very easy, fatigue, sore throat which is sorer in the morning, leg weakness and leg jerks.
