"Awful practice"

About: Torridon Road Medical Practice

My mother is grieving (son), and has a huge amount of stress and anxiety at the moment. Every time she calls for medication, there is a delay, repeat phone calls are needed, prescriptions are either not complete, or are sent to the wrong pharmacy. They do not tell you which pharmacy to go to. She has made 9 phone calls this week trying to get her medication, and now has to wait until Monday morning so will be without for the weekend. It's absolutely shocking that these 'healthcare professionals' are looking after people like my mum who is struggling.

I am sorry and disappointment to hear you are unhappy with your mother's experience at our Practice.

Repeat prescription requests take two working days for us to make available to the patient or patient's nominated Pharmacy. The case is different for acute (one off) medication which is at the discretion of the Doctor.
