"Keep up the wonderful work"

About: Inclusion Recovery College Thurrock

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I think it is brilliant all the amazing things that you are still offering at this time at the Recovery College and how you are adapting and changing to the needs of the community during this time. Keeping connected and reaching out too - especially as there are so many more barriers to do so! Keep up the wonderful work you do.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It's been great to connect with our students and we've had such a great experience sharing our learning online.

As a team, staff, volunteers and students have worked hard to co-produce courses to keep the RC community connected. We're aware that attending online courses has been a new experience for many of our students; we appreciate the good-humoured patience and generosity of ideas and input from so many.

It's wonderful to hear that you feel connected. One of the ways students can get involved with the RC community is through Experience Stories & Well-being, the RC magazine. This is emailed to every student and available via our social media - just search Inclusion Recovery College Thurrock, on Facebook. You can also email ThurrockRCollege if you'd like another copy.

A course that might be of interest to anyone looking for ways to stay connected at this time is the Ways to Well-being: Connect course. Email the college admin if you'd like more information. Staying connected (along with taking notice, giving, being active and continuing to learn,) is one of the 5 ways recognised as helpful for looking after our well-being.

Take care and thank you so much. Your feedback is really appreciated.
