Staff rotate duties, but I never start dialysis at the designated time. I have found some individual staff members tend to be erratic when it comes to remembering patient needs. There appears to be confusion over patients’ medical history (I’ve been attending for a number of years and find it disorganised).
I arrive in a chair and I feel rushed out when the four hour dialysis is over. I generally dread attending (especially on a Friday when it feels like there’s a definite rush to get patients out, as they discuss their weekend plans yet again!).
Also, the distribution of food is poor (quality) and some of the auxiliary staff don't listen. From my experience this is not an efficient unit. Sorry to complain, but great improvement needed.
