I was very scared as had previous experience of having a d and c with no anaesthesia in a bush hospital in Turks and Caicos Islands 🇹🇨 in the sixties!
I needn’t have worried! The care from assessment stage to operation and hospital stay was incredibly caring, professional, efficient and seamless.
I was blown away by the kindness and consideration I was shown especially by the anaesthetic staff and operating team! The drug you gave me before the spinal must have been good as I went into theatre singing .... ‘Welcome to my world - won’t you come on in ... miracles I give happen now and then’ ....
I am home now still in the recovery stage but want to thank Mr Annan and his team for such an excellent service! The physio on the ward was a fabulous mentor and so positive - thanks to all th nurses too 💙💚💛🧡❤️💜 ... the bed pan thing was awful but you always greeted me with a smile and the next day a grateful I when offered the commode!
You have made me so proud of the Scottish Health Service .Bless you all xxx 😘
