"My daughters sore feet"

About: The Ridings Medical Group

(as a service user),

Six months ago just before her school closed for lockdown my teenage daughter complained about her toes hurting. Taking a closer look I knew they were infected, my husband took her to A & E. Where they bathed them and gave her antibiotics. She took them and then I was advised because of her age I could take her to a chiropodist which I did twice and yet they still weren’t healing up! ! I rang the DR's I could only get telephone appointments with pictures I sent and they just kept on prescribing antibiotics. so here I am after 6 months, my daughter goes back to school tomorrow and she’s finally seen a  DR whose taken a swab and has no idea why the previous 6 lots of antibiotics haven’t worked? ! I’m having to strap my daughters toes up tomorrow, so if she walks they won’t bleed all the time! Surely after getting through the reception staff one of your professionals could look at her almost never existing record to wonder what’s going on? ? It’s completely changed her over the last six months she hasn’t been able to go out because of this you’ve all diagnosed this and yet if this was sorted 6 months ago my daughter would be going back to school feeling normal.
