About: Causeway Hospital / Maternity Unit

(as a service user),

During the antenatal care, delivery and after care for both my baby and I, the staff at Causeway hospital couldn’t have done more. I was treated with care, respect and support right from my first appointment and my husband also commented on the high standard that he witnessed at the appointments he joined me in. All the staff were excellent and the midwives involved in my babies care the day he was born went above and beyond for us both. Our journey through pregnancy to going home with our baby was just perfect and the staff deserve praise and acknowledgement for all that they do and I will always be so grateful for how they cared for us.

My name is Barbara Strawbridge and I am the Lead Midwife for Causeway Maternity Services in the NHSCT.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to write such kind and positive comments about our service and the staff. During these difficult times it is lovely for staff to feel appreciated and I will share your story with them.

I am delighted your pregnancy journey and birthing experience in Causeway Maternity Unit was a positive one and heartwarming to know that staff have made this special time in your lives 'perfect'. On behalf of myself and my staff we wish you well on your parenting journey.
