Our Mum Patricia passed away peacefully at Kilbryde hospice on her birthday Aug 2020.

Mum passed away after a long battle with cancer under the caring and watchful eyes of Emily and Danielle mums little (Fire cracker). We can’t thank you enough for all your love and support my mum loved you very much ❤️❤️X

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience on Care Opinion. I'm sorry to hear that your Mum died on her birthday. I imagine that this will be a poignant day for you and the rest of the family in the future. As Clinical Services Manager, I am reassured that your Mum died under Emily & Danielle's watchful eyes. Thank you for taking the time to mention them personally. I will ensure they are made aware of this very positive feedback. This will be very comforting to both of them.

On mentioning your Mum to the staff they commented that the corridors would be quieter, with less laughs and less late night TV binge watching without her. They will miss caring for your Mum.

I extend my condolences to you and the rest of the family. Take care of yourself and if I can be of any assistance to you in the future please let me know.
