About: Kilbryde Hospice

(as a relative),

The amazing compassionate staff at the hospice are angels on earth .

The love and care they showed our Mum Patricia myself and my sisters will never leave us, no words can describe the high level of care we all received.

Mums final weeks were filled with laughter and stories from all the staff at the hospice we would have been lost without you all . I asked you all if it was ok to write your names down on this review page hope that’s still ok , and apologies to anyone I have missed out you know who you are and how you showed so much love to all of us .. we will never ever forget you all ❤️X

Dear ChattyPatty

Thank you for taking time, when you are so recently bereaved, to post such an uplifting story about the care your Mum received at Kilbryde Hospice. It was our privilege to care for your Mum over the last few weeks and I am pleased to hear that you felt the care was of a high standard. As Clinical Services Manager, it is reassuring to hear that despite the challenges of working within the restrictions of COVID-19 there was still lots of time for laughter and stories from the staff. Laughter sometimes is the best medicine.

ChattyPatty you have taken the time to list as many staff and volunteers as you had permission to name. Thank you most sincerely for doing this. You have no idea how reassuring this is to our staff and volunteers. I will ensure that each staff member and volunteer receive your feedback. You mention all the staff who you saw but didn't catch their names. There is a lot of work goes on behind the scenes and your post will motivate them too.

Please take care of yourself in the coming weeks and months and if we can be of any further assistance to you in the future please let me know.

Kind regards

Margaret Mary Cowan

Clinical Services Manager
