I have been registered with the practice for 10 years, and never been to see a doctor until July/2020 when my health start deteriorating.
I have tried to get an appointment and been told to call in the morning at 8.30 am, for the next week every morning I called and the line was always busy, I have spent almost £20 on calls as I am on pay as you go and I had no choice but to email them, I was told off for sending an email.
The practice will always keep me on hold, or will call me back after 2 hours, and one time they hang up on me, saying that they can't hear me.
I managed to speak to a doctor who send me for a blood test and chest scan, booked the appointment and then the recepionist at the test told me that my name and surname are the other way round and has been for the last 10 years. Went back to the surgery told them about the mistake, they said they will rectify. Went back for the test and been told that I have to have the correct name on the form. Went back to the surgery and at last they changed the name on the form which should have been done days earlier. Went back for the test and been told that I have to fast for 12 hours, no one at the surgery has told me about fasting, and had to rebook again.
The practice are quick to call me about not sending any emails, and also because I have moved houses and could not get a GP while everything was locked during the last few months. I have received a text today telling me to find a new GP in the next 4 weeks, and it seems to me that the surgery are not looking after my well been with all these mistakes.
My wife had the same the problems, she went for a few check ups when she felt unwell, and only when she developed rashes on her skin that the surgery sent her to the hospital, she found out that she has Lupus, the surgery did not diagnosed the illness early enough.
"Many problems"
