I was very impressed when I attended the clinic in January. I was given a diagnosis after suffering undiagnosed problems for years.
Unfortunately, I was allergic to the medications I was prescribed.
Because of lockdown, my GP contacted them for an alternative. The response she got didn’t match me, my symptoms, or tests and confused her so much so, she thought they’d got me confused with someone else.
Since then, I’ve not had any medication and, worse of all, I was referred to a doctor 1-2hrs away without my knowledge because this so-called specialist had no idea what was wrong with me.
This ‘doctor’ refused to listen to me and diagnosed me based off what this man said. The diagnosis was incorrect but I was told it was as the respiratory doctor had seen me.
Don’t tell me to contact PALS because they just go to the doctor then say ‘we’ll the doctor said... so that’s what happened.’
How do you decide who to employ? Do you check their qualifications? Because I’m so confused how they can ignore facts and come up with something so wrong that my GP had no idea who they were talking about!
