"Day Stay Patient"

I was very apprehensive Covid and all but from the time I arrived at 7-30am to the time I was discharged at 4-30pm the care that I received was 1st class. All the team were personable and caring and was informed what time approx that I would be going down to theatre and that the aneathatis and surgeon would be round to see me. 

The procedure took place and was back on the ward which seemed like no time at all. Had a cup of tea and toast, and was given pain killers (oramorph). A hour or so later the nurse rang my wife to let her know that I was back on the ward and a couple of hours later they rang my son to organise my transportation home. Special arrangements were made for pick up due to the Covid and the nursing sister helped me out to the waiting transport. I must say that all the team are brilliant and the service cannot be bettered. Now have a anxious wait for the results.
