"Terrible practice"

About: New Cross Centre (Hurley Group)

My partner has been suffering from mental health issues and after many many attempts she finally got an appointment to see a 'specialist' nurse, who clearly didn't know anything about mental health illnesses, because all the nurse had been able to do was trigger a breakdown in my partner, and send them out the door.

Wouldn't even go in there if my arm was falling off.

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment though we are very sorry you feel you have had such a poor experience at our practice. We are always looking to improve our services and feedback helps us to do this. All our staff strive to provide a consistently professional service and high level of care delivered in an effective yet kindly manner.

Although appreciative of you drawing these concerns to our attention we do not feel this is the most appropriate forum, given its anonymity. You may well have identified the nurse concerned in your posting but it is NHS Choices protocol to remove names before adding comments to the web site. In this case that has left all of our Nurses as potentially the person referred to which, I am sure you agree, is unfair. In order for us to fully investigate the issues raised do you feel comfortable contacting the Practice Manager and identifying the nurse involved and elaborate on the circumstances to enable us to investigate further
