19/8/20. Firstly I would like to say how very impressed I was with the safety aspect in place with regard to Covid situation. I felt totally safe in the surgery.

I rang the surgery about 9am to say that my nurse was unable to call that day to take my pre chemo blood test (I have

AML), required for the doctor at the hospital the following day. I was panicking but the nurse rang me back and said that I could go straight away as there was a cancellation.I went, forgetting my envelope but she said not to worry but to go home and relax and return at 12.20 pm.I did so and job done! I was so grateful and relieved. Its very refreshing that although the nurse was probably very busy she was caring enough to solve what seemed an enormous problem for me. The previous test the week before showed bloods to low to start chemotherapy but on this occasion they were better so full steam ahead! Thank you so much. Marjorie Sykes
