In August 2020 I managed to sustain amazingly painful burn injuries to my lower body. I can not thank enough the two receptionists who were so kind and ushered me into the minor injury unit to be treated, initially by Shelley the HCA and then by Jo the RGN.
Due to both of their kindness, calmness and professional care they managed to reassure me and also reduce the amount of damage to my skin. Jo also referred me up to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where I was later seen that same day by the Burns Team.
Thankfully two weeks later I am now healing really well and can carry out all the normal day to day activities I enjoyed doing before the accident.
A big thank you to Jo, Shelley and the two lovely receptionists on duty.
