Following a colposcopy I needed to return to the service for treatment. I tend to panic due to the nature of the body area concerned! Just as before the team, including the nurses, consultant and assistants, were absolutely fantastic. they listened to me when I explained I tend to panic, pure body reaction and that I wanted them to continue. They reassured me and distracted me whilst I was going through it. The consultant doing the procedure was male, which I was initially a bit uncomfortable about. However I shouldn't have been, he was professional, compassionate and explained everything he was doing. All round excellent service, on both visits.
