"Rude nurse but everyone else was kind (Fracture…"

About: Southend Hospital

Visited Southend hospital on Tuesday the 11th of August 2020 at 10pm. The receptionist was nice to me and understanding. I then got transferred to the fracture clinic in the hospital and again the receptionist was helpful and friendly towards me. However nurse who was in charge of the ward that night was very rude to me. I politely asked when I will be seen as I had been there for 2 and a half hours and it wasn’t major but needed to be seen at hospital and I’d thought it would of been easier to get me out of the way. And she rudely replied to me saying I have no idea and carried on speaking bluntly without making any eye contact and then walked off saying I’d be next to be seen. Half an hour passed and someone else was seen then I politely said excuse me do you know when I’ll be seen as you said I was next but someone has just been called. She continued to be rude to me and argue back to me and I said to her I don’t appreciate being spoken to rudely like when I first spoke to you and she said neither do I and stormed off. This was Infront of everyone in the waiting room. I felt like this was very disgraceful to be treated like especially for my first hospital visit. Very unprofessional in that job role when I thought importance was to be kind especially in this pandemic. Despite this, all over staff I saw in my visit seemed very nice and caring.
