I am currently at home recovering from gall bladder removal surgery following a chronic gall bladder infection at the start of the pandemic and am writing to acknowledge the care I received throughout the process by the Northern General Hospital prior to my surgery with the NHS at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield.
From my treatment by the Out of Hours GP Unit at the Northern General, the Out Patient staff who diagnosed my condition, the Waiting List staff who on contacting me, answered my initial questions and subsequent follow up queries, the Pre Operation Assessment Nurse who over the phone provided me with practical information about what to expect from the surgery, the NGH Support Worker at who did my ECG and took my bloods, the Laboratory staff who processed my bloods and Covid samples, the Cleaning teams whose efforts in maintaining high standards of cleanliness which were evidenced all around the hospital, THANK YOU.
"Thank you"
