"What service?"

All the caring staff have left. What is offered now is a 5 minute phone call with a CPN who doesn't listen (as noted by another commenter, I felt she was painting her nails!). The consultants keep leaving too and the latest one didn't listen ( as evidenced by the clinic letter I received). I ask for help with anxiety but nothing given. I know there is Covid but can't they spend longer than 5 minutes and actually give some help. The receptionists r more caring than the clinical staff! Unless u r actively suicidal or psychotic, there is no treatment offered to prevent an escalation of a crisis even if u have a CPN.

We are sorry that you felt that you had a bad experience from our service. A five minute conversation with the CPN is not our standard and it is not the trust standard. However, I would strongly encourage to complain through the proper channels. This includes bringing your complaints to the manager at Lyndon CMHT. I like these type of forums, there are pros and cons regards these forums. We believe the best constructive way is dealing with concerns direct with the service you have your concerns, and if we do it via these forums we are not solving your individual concern(s). You rightly stated that the Corvid crisis caused a lot of anxiety and different ways of working, we are hoping when it is safe to do so, to invite service users back into the building to have 1:1 consultation.

Another aspect you raised, we at Lyndon CMHT, do not exclude any diagnosis - when a referral comes into the team, everyone is treated fairly and equitably. Once again I would strongly encourage you to make your complaints to the manager, or alternatively we have a great Customer Relations and PALs team that would be more than happy to help, they can be reached on 0800 953 0045 or bsmhft.customerrelations@nhs.net. This way your concerns can be dealt with in the right and proper way. Thank you for the points raised and we look forward to meeting to resolve your matters.
