"Surgery as I think it should be!"

Not have been under the knife for very many years I was naturally a little anxious about my double hernia surgery. I really needn't have been. My consultant was clearly a master in his field, came highly recommended, and was unfailingly thorough and patient in responding to my very many questions. The surgery was a little more challenging than expected but was clearly performed with imposing competence and left me with very small scars and very little pain. The nursing staff were unfailingly supportive, combining their evident professional skills with a humanity and gentle humour which helped to raise my spirits. The administrative and admissions staff were efficient and reliable. While there were obviously some changes from the normal routine to circumvent Covid, these were well-implemented so the price of additional safety was not needlessly high. Support after the procedure has also been excellent. If I need further surgery at any time, I will select Spire without hesitation. Thanks to all who made the experience so pleasant.
