(as a relative),

Just wanted to praise the staff on H-South, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock for the outstanding care my mum received in March when she underwent major surgery. From pre-assessment to postoperative care they were absolutely amazing! 

Can’t express our gratitude enough! 

The enhanced recovery nurse who welcomed us, immediately made my mum feel a little more relaxed on what was understandably a nervous day for her. Everything was explained in detail and as the nurse when through all the checks necessary, I myself felt a lot more relaxed as I could feel the care + attention to detail was personal. Although, all staff in hospitals are very busy I felt my mums care was never compromised, help was always on hand when needed. 

A special thanks to the surgical team who I feel Inverclyde are lucky to have + also to H-North who played a part in caring for mum during this period.

Dear Bah,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post on Care Opinion and for your lovely comments praising the surgical wards H-South, H-North and the wider surgical team at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.

It's heartening for the staff to hear that your mum felt reassured, well care for and put at ease, at what must have been a very worrying time for you all.
