"My daughters swollen ankle"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as a parent/guardian),

I was referred to minor injuries at new Victoria clinic Glasgow in July as my daughters ankle had swollen up due to her tripping down a few stairs .

We were met at the door and ushered into the waiting room. We were quickly seen and triaged by a nurse.

He thought the ankle was twisted and not broken.

The radiologists then looked at her ankle and did a couple of x rays.

The ankle as indeed not broken.

They were helpful and courteous and made us feel relaxed

Thank you

Dear Chrissy b

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in relation to the time you and your daughter spent at the MIU at the New Victoria Hospital.

Firstly I'm glad your daughters ankle isn't broken and I would like to take this chance to wish her a speedy recovery.

It was reassuring to hear that all the x-rays and checks were performed to a high standard and you and your daughter were made to feel comfortable and relaxed in such a worrying time.

I will pass on your feedback to the relevant staff in the MIU department. I'm sure they will all be delighted to hear the service provided was helpful and efficient.

Kind regards

Kevin
