About: South Tyrone Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as a service user),

Nice open ward - plenty of room to social distance, but unfortunately not as convenient for me as Craigavon.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, making me feel safe and not stressed about the procedure.

Thankyou so much for posting your thoughts on Care Opinion and to learn that the staff in the Day Clinical Centre (DCC) have been so "friendly and helpful". It is imperative that you and other patients do feel safe and not anxious about attending our Service during Covid 19. This of course has been made easier with the open planned ward which also ensures that social distancing, as you say, is maintained.

However, I am sorry to learn that you have had to travel further for you to attend our relocated DCC but hope that this inconvenience is offset by the care we are able to provide by moving away from the main hospital in Craigavon.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your story and we hope you are able to keep coming to us for your treatment.
