"A very positive experience"

About: Conquest Hospital

I was a day patient in the Richard Ticehurst Unit for an umbilical hernia on the 28th July.

All the staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful,

my surgery seems to be healing well, I had a nice bed ride back from recovery to the ward, plenty of coffee and a nice bite to eat. Home the same day, what's not to like!

Please pass on my thanks to all the staff.

Dear Reg,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely comments about your recent experience of care on the Richard Ticehurst Unit; we really appreciate it, and hope your recovery is continuing to go well.

The Trust works hard to provide a high standard of care and treatment for all patients, and so we are delighted to read this has been your experience. It is also pleasing for us to read that not only did your procedure go well, but that staff treated you with dignity and compassion, and were kind, friendly and helpful in their approach. This must have been a great source of assurance to you, and gave you confidence in the staff undertaking your surgery and providing the aftercare.

We are very happy to share your kind words with the staff on the Richard Ticehurst Unit, and are sure they will be thrilled to read to how much you valued and appreciated their care of you. We hope you will make a full recovery from your surgery Reg, and wish you all the very best for good health and well-being in the future. Take care, keep well, and stay safe.
