I felt very nervous and scared coming into Hospital, especially with Coronavirus. I had breathing problems and felt very afraid.
As it was night time, I felt even more vulnerable.
A wee senior nurse called Denise came and performed a blood test in my wrist, to check the oxygen levels in my blood. Even though she had a full kit on, I could see her smiling, reassuring eyes. Even though it was so busy (she had to cover all the wards at the Hospital), she took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me great reassurance. I felt in safe hands. For such a wee nurse in height, she had such a Reassuringly powerful impact on me ~ a shining light and beacon of hope in the darkness.
