"Put at ease for minor surgery"

About: Outpatients Centre / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I was at Stirling community hospital today to have a small procedure on 2 basal cell carcinomas on my legs.

After several attempts to treat them with no success, it was decided they had to be surgically removed.

The surgery was performed by Kirsty with Rose assisting. They both made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I couldn’t have wished for a better team to take care of me.

The procedure itself went smoothly and was very professionally carried out.

Due to the present situation with Covid I was nervous about this whole hospital visit and I can’t thank these ladies enough for putting me at total ease and helping me through my procedure.

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback, I have shared this with Rose and the rest of the team.

We are certainly in very anxious times and I am pleased you were made to feel at ease, we do like a wee blether and something as simple as that often helps ease the nerves.

I hope your wounds are healing well.

Thanks again

Kirsty
