"Cystitis episide"

About: The Pinn Medical Centre

I developed an attack of cystitis while I was at work in East London. After an excruciating wait for a lift back to Pinner and a very long, painful ride home, I was advised by Pinn (receptionist pointed at a sign) that the emergency clinic was full and go to A&E. I couldn’t even walk by then and was expected to get to Northwick Park. I had really bad pain by then and had to tearfully beg to be seen. Three minutes with a GP and an Rx for antibiotics. Incredibly cold, detached and unsympathetic attitude by this particular receptionist which was unnecessary as she could see what state I was in.

Do A&E really want to see a cystitis case???

Dear Patient

Thankyou for your feedback on the service you have received from the medical centre. We are sorry that you felt our services did not meet your expectations. Our intention was not to cause you further discomfort- but to try and get your health need addressed in the most efficient way possible. On the day you presented with your health concern we would have been on divert which meant that all emergency appointments we had available would have been taken up and we had no further appointments to offer.

We are glad that the GP managed to see you and we hope that your health improved after receiving the medication.

King Regards

Management Team at Pinn Medical Centre
