"Too much change"

I have a family member who is a registered patient at the surgery. Over the last few years I have noticed several doctors have left and now it is really hard to get an appointment with someone who knows us. I understand the corona virus has led to changes but now I am speaking to GPs on the phone who have no idea about the medical history and so on which is disappointing and frustrating for us.

Good morning. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for the practice. I am sorry to read that you are not able to get to speak to a doctor who knows you. Have you tried the AskmyGP service online? The service will let you see which GP is working each day so you can then choose a day to contact us and specify the doctor you would like to contact. We cannot always guarantee to be able to put your request through to the doctor of your choice depending upon workload that day but we always try to accommodate patient preference. One of our GPs has recently left us to emigrate and another has gone on maternity leave. We are also in the middle of the rotation of GP trainees so will be welcoming 4 new doctors to the practice on Wednesday 5 August.
