During lockdown, I'd contacted my GP about a concern I had with a skin blemish on my temple.
After speaking with my GP (Dr McCrae at Bonnybridge Health Centre) my case was immediately referred to the Dermatology Dept at Stirling Community Hospital (NHS Forth Valley).
Within a couple of weeks I had an appointment to attend for a biopsy. The procedure was carried out by David with Claire assisting. They were both excellent, explained everything what was to happen and followed on with detailed information for aftercare. I was told it would take approx 6 weeks to receive any results but within 3 weeks I'd been lettered from the Dermatology Dept highlighting what my problem was and that thankfully everything was fine with no further treatment required.
My thanks go to the professionalism of my GP, Dr Wong from the Dermatology Dept for the prompt update with my results and finally to David and Claire who effortlessly put my mind at ease before, during and after the procedure.
