In July 2020 I was admitted to Tameside emergency dept with a dislocated left hip on replacement left hip. I was luckily discharged a few days later.
I would like to thank all of the staff members that I came into contact with. From the initial contact with the 999 operator, ambulance paramedics, a&e dept, emergency orthopaedic unit, radiology dept, auxiliary nurses, cleaners, surgeons, caterers, operating theatre (Jade) staff, physio, ward nurses, anaesthesia nurse, occupational therapy (Marrianna), ambulance drivers to return me home, also doctors at St Andrews house, Stalybridge.
All of the above dept staff were extremely professional, sympathetic and so kind. Given the present epidemic, I am extremely grateful for the care and attention that they freely gave.
Could you please pass on my huge thanks and admiration to all departments concerned in my return to mobility and recovery.
"Professional, sympathetic and kind staff"
