"Efficient and effective"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

After a late night A&E visit for a stuck fishbone in my throat led to an early Sunday morning ENT outpatient visit. Within an hour the doctor had explained, seen and managed to remove (despite my sensitive gag reflex) without the need for sedation or a trip to the Operating theatre. It was good that the doctor had a colleague available to assist them. Thank you very much. Only issue is building (Barry) needs better signage to find the clinic in the first place!

Thank you so much for contacting us following your experience in our emergency department. I was so pleased that our staff were able to help so quickly. I will share your feedback with the team and I know they will be so grateful.

I will review the signage in the Barry Building and feedback to the Estates department, thank you for bringing this to my attention.

With best wishes
