My elderly Dad, who has dementia and other health needs, moved to a new area, closer to family, 4 weeks before the lockdown for Covid-19. He had initially managed the move well, but following the lockdown, when family were unable to visit him, both his physical and mental health deteriorated. His new GP surgery (receptionists and GPs) have provided excellent support for both him and us during this time - helping us with prompt phone advice when needed - and even visiting him when we were most concerned. Their support, in particular Dr Nowak, helped him and us immeasurably.
