"We were made so welcome"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Stroke care

(as a relative),

It is a year ago that my dad was in ward D7. He had a serious head injury and was quite poorly, he couldn't walk talk or eat, we had to travel from Stranraer every day to spend the whole day with him,

We were made so welcome and the care he received was above and beyond outstanding as well as us, All the staff was brilliant nothing was too much for them and they had time to answer anything we were worried about xSo thank you all again to the nursing staff that cared for him after this covid is over we will meet again, he is doing great xxx

Dear Dixi Chic

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback for the staff of Ward D7, Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. I am absolutely delighted to hear that your dad and your family had such a positive experience through what must have been a really stressful time for you all.

The staff will be so thrilled to hear that your family was provided with the standard of care that the team are constantly striving to provide, not only for your dad but for your entire family.

I am delighted to hear that your dad is doing well and wish him good health for the future.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide you feedback and I will ensure that the ward gets to hear about your kind words.

Kind regards

ALEXIS
