My first video consultation! I was feeling pretty desperate to have this appointment as my health problems are significantly altering my quality of life. Chronic pain and reduced mobility are not what I'd foreseen as I moved towards my retirement.   I was very pleased at how simple it was to set up and the appointment was so much better than I expected. It's nice to see face of the persona whose name is at the end at of the medical letters/reports. I was very pleased with the video consultation and I can phone up straight away to arrange the Xrays requested locally today. Well done NHS!

Thank you for taking the time to share your first time experience of a video consultation; it was really encouraging to read your feedback, especially that it was so much better than you expected.

I am part of the video consultation implementation team at RCHT and we want to ensure the service is easy to use and offers the opportunity to have a full consultation with the clinician, thereby replacing the need to travel to an appointment.

We are continually looking at how we can optimise the service and patient pathways, and will use your experience to help inform this.
