Was advised to go The Horton A&E by my GP and local community hospital to pick up a boot for a foot injury. Neither my Drs surgery or community hospital stock these hence the advice to go to the Horton to collect.
Dr that saw me was adiment that the advice I had been given was wrong. Refused to issue what had been reccomended and when questioned as to why he had a conflicting advice to what I had already received raised his voice and said "I am you're Dr right now"
When I questioned why there was an issue with me even trying a boot to see if it would help the nurse that was assisting the Dr replied with because boots are expensive and because of Covid, if we let you try it on and it's not helping we have to throw it away.
I'm so glad that because of a Drs Ego and a nurses concern for budget that I've been left to home in pain with no other support.
Not good enough. I even offered to pay for the boot myself which was declined. Great work team.
"Disappointing service "
