I had been experiencing a racing heart and had become very concerned when I attended the Cardio Investigation Hub in Altnagelvin. I was seen by Michelle an amazing nurse who was very experienced, knowledgeable and so very attentive which immediately put me at ease and provided me with reassurance that was very much appreciated. A series of tests and an ecg was carried out so promptly and my results back within a very short space of time. The speed, efficiency, reassurance and guidance provided was simply fantastic at such a worrying time for me. This is an excellent service and I wish to thank Michelle and her team for their care, expertise and kindness.

Hello P Mulholland, I cannot thank you enough for your very kind words. It is very humbling for me as a nurse to read but I am very reassured your experience at our Hub was fantastic. I am particularly delighted that I put you at ease and you felt reassured. I understand how worrying it must have been for you and my main aim as a nurse is to ensure all the patients in my care are treated with respect and the utmost care.

As a small team of experienced cardiac nurses the aim of the hub is to treat patients promptly and efficiently, I am so glad we achieved this for you.

Again thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback and I hope you continue to remain well.
