"Respiratory and heart problems"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Respiratory medicine General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as the patient),

I phoned my doctors surgery complaining of shortness of breath  and sore legs which feel like lead, my gp said to go to crosshouse hospital to get tested for coronavirus I refused because I know myself it's nothing to do with that, he made me an appointment for the respiratory clinic at the surgery for 4 pm I had to walk it there and I was exhausted and the waiting room was closed so I had nowhere to sit as I was exhausted so I phoned and cancelled my appointment, I feel waiting outside hasn't been properly thought out. I feel let down by my surgery and also the NHS in general including with mental health as I have been sorely let down as I also suffer from PTSD, I have no faith in our NHS any longer.
