"A big Thank you."

About: Warwick Hospital

Hospital number 430901

On 15 July I was admitted to Greville Ward from A & E, suffering from haematuria caused by an unsatisfactory routine catheter change. After a day or two I was transferred to Hatton Ward from where I was discharged on19 July.

Throughout my stay, I simply could not have received better care and treatment. All the staff were superb, from the consultants to the Ward cleaners. Furthermore, although this is perhaps of secondary significance - although hugely appreciated by me and the other patients in my wards(!) - the food was absolutely excellent. There was a huge choice - and really generous servings. So I'd like to express my appreciation of that to all concerned.

So, a big thank you to everyone involved in looking after me. However, specifically, I wish to express my thanks and gratitude to the nursing team, on both Wards, who had day to day care of me. I use the phrase "nursing team" in its widest possible sense. Every one of the nursing team was so caring and compassionate - and nothing was too much trouble. I observed this, not only in the way they looked after me but in the way they cared for the other patients in my Wards, some of which had more complex medical needs than me. They were brilliant. Thank you so very, very much!
