After a series of bad experiences with the admin staff of this practice I have decided to find a new GP. They have an emergency telephone number for "emergencies" - now if I have an emergency I phone 999 not the surgery - I had diarrhoea for well over a week so phoned the emergency line at the surgery - the receptionist told me it wasn't an emergency and told me to phone back on the other line when it opened which I did - so if you phone their "emergency line" do they just tell you to phone 999? The receptionist told me that she wasn't qualified to comment on a persons symptoms so how can she tell me it wasn't an emergency?!! But that isn't the only reason I'm leaving - that was just one example of their ineptness.
