"Highly efficient AND compassionate"

I called 111 tonight for very painful cystitis and extreme concern it might have an effect on my transplanted kidney and pancreas.

The team were so kind, efficient, friendly and so reassuring. The questions they asked were personal but never invasive or embarrassing.

Within an hour of calling and a couple of very rapid call backs, I had a prescription sent to a local 24 hour pharmacy. I am now at home again with the correct tablets and feeling much less worried and a little better.

In this time of global pandemic, how is such service possible?! How fortunate am I and are we!
