"Recent gastrojejunostomy procedure"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Surgery (wards 64, 65, 66,& 67)

(as the patient),

I was not 100% sure about getting surgery as I had heard horror stories from previous patients.

However my time at GRI was excellent and was exceptionally looked after notably by the pancreatic surgical team and all the staff at surgical high dependency ward.

Even during these hard times they made me feel like nothing was an effort and made my stay pleasant.

Hi,

I was very pleased to read of your experience of care within the surgical high dependency unit under the care of the pancreatic surgical team.

It is always heartening for our staff to receive such positive feedback from our patients and I will ensure that staff within the service are made aware of your kind comments.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us via Care Opinion.

Yours sincerely,

John Carson

Associate Chief Nurse

Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
