About: South Tyrone Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as a service user),

Prior to covid-19 I attended another hospital. The service I attend has been relocated to STH. I find the service very good. It is convenient to me travelling to STH as it is only 10-15 away by car.

I love it as STH has a lot more space available for social distancing. The room is open and you have your own space. 

The staff nurses, sisters of the ward are very welcoming. I have no complaints. 

Really happy with the change.

There is nothing I think could have been done better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.

It is great to hear that you have found the new environment in South Tyrone more convenient, as it has been challenging to move the Day Clinical Centre from an Acute setting, and to have positive feedback is encouraging.

Fortunately the area we are presently using to provide patient care, in the Day Clinical Centre, is as you have described spacious. We therefore have the ability to ensure social distancing, which has been crucial to ensuring that people like yourself who are receiving biologics drugs, (and are therefore advised to be at home isolating), can safely attend.

The staff in the Day Clinical Centre will be delighted with your feedback, and I will ensure they are aware of it.
