"My visit to Crosshouse Hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

my experience in ward 3e at Crosshouse Hospital has been on the whole very good. the Nursing and auxiliary staff have been very helpful but at the same time have allowed me to maintain as much independence as possible. They are very respectful of each patients privacy and individual needs. there is a a young man called John who is working voluntarily and he is extremely good at listening to patients and trying to make them feel more comfortable and less stressed. nothing is too much trouble for him. the ward itself is kept very clean and the staff are always tidying it. all staff, domestic, auxiliary and nursing are always actively cleaning and tidying.

Dear betaeh67,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on care opinion. It is so nice to hear about your experience and how staff supported you during what must have been a difficult time. John wil be delighted to hear how he reduced your stress.

I hope you are now feeling better and on the road to recovery.

Best Wishes

Christine
