My journey with lock down and drinking more than I wanted too during lock down

Drinking more than usual because of lock down made me realize that I needed a bit of help but felt a little nervous to reach out for help until I thought how much easier it would be than trying to cut back or stop on my own.

I would like to thank everyone one that has helped me through this journey, for all their support, kindness, encouragement and for never judging me. I am now on day six of my detox and feel so much Like my old self again, no more awful hang overs. I feel so much more positive and motivated. I feel alive again and healthy.

I recommend this service and would especially like to thank the lovely nurse Janice, my support worker Daniella for all there kindnesses and amazing work. I feel blessed. On wards and upwards now for me.. never give up and seek help if you feel you need it.. It could be the best thing you ever do for your self and loved one's.
