My Dad received an appointment to attend for his 6 monthly bone injection. However, due to the current coronavirus pandemic we felt it would be too risky for Dad to attend as he is nearly 90, very vulnerable & has been shielding.
I therefore rang the Appointments Office & spoke to Tanya. I explained the situation & asked Tanya to cancel the appointment but Tanya said rather than do that she would get in touch with Dad's Rheumatology Nurse & ask her to give me a ring. Kirsty rang me back within 15 minutes & we had a chat about Dad & his future treatment. I feel that Tanya showed excellent Customer Care, she was very professional, courteous & helpful & could have simply cancelled the appointment at my request but she went the extra mile & should be commended for this, also Kirsty who rang me back so promptly with advice & who always gives a high standard of patient care.
