"Disappointed"

About: The Penrhyn Surgery

Desperately needed to see a GP concerning a severe allergic rash and to gain information from my records regarding an unsuitable antibiotic. Reception informed me that doctors were not seeing anyone face to face and were unable to give me the information I needed despite keeping me waiting outside for nearly an hour. Been a patient here for nearly 30 years to be told to go to the pharmacist who would advise me on pain relief drugs. Receptionists are polite and helpful but they are not Doctors.

Cannot understand why it is possible to go to the hospital and see a doctor or pay to been seen at a private practice but not be able to see your own doctor.

Dear Sue

Thank you for taking time to make us aware of your recent difficulties. We offer our sincere apologies for not meeting the level of service that was expected by yourself.

Given the current pandemic, we are requesting all patients to respect the need for NHS services to remain as safe as possible. We are advising patients not come to Surgery unless they have already arranged an appointment to see doctor or nurse. This is to protect staff and patients.

I am thankful to you for raising this with Practice directly as complaint and this has now been investigated, however if there is anything further we can do to help then we would love to hear from you. You can call us on 02085272563 and ask for Manager.

We wish you best of health.

Many Thanks

Management Team
