My mother was admitted to EAU by her GP suffering from a raised heart rate. During her time on EAU her condition deteriorated and she was transferred to ward 42. Due to covid 19 restrictions and unable to visit, I was advised by telephone of the seriousness of her condition. I was advised she was receiving end of life care and I would be able to visit. During my visits I witnessed the care, compassion and dignity given to my mother in her final days. Thank you to everyone involved in her care.
Only one thing I was disappointed with was the fact that her bag containing nightwear, daywear and her purse went missing. I am presuming when she was transferred to ward 42 the bag was left behind in EAU. Despite ringing on several occasions it has yet to be found
"Thank You"
